Ichibancon!…Again! Plus, Katsucon

First off: Ichibancon news!

We have received approvals for Weekend 2 of Ichibancon so it looks like we’re attending, even if only for two full days (plus Friday evenning).

For Weekend 1, we are approved for:

• Let’s Talk About ‘Dex (Pokédex, that is)

• Why Do We Like Cows? Farm Life Sims and Pastoral Media

• Public Fandom Meetups 101: Hosting Your Public Photoshoots

And for Weekend 2, we are approved for:

• Let’s Talk About ‘Dex (Pokédex, that is)

• Let’s Talk About ‘Dex: Spooky Scary Edition

• Why Do We Like Cows? Farm Life Sims and Pastoral Media

• Public Fandom Meetups 101: Hosting Your Public Photoshoots

And we are still waitlisted for the others. Fingers crossed we get those approved, but I think we’ll have our hands full with these.

Now for Katsucon news!

The competition in the panel scene is FIERCE this year, it seems. Out of 6 panels, only 1 of ours was approved, but we’re super excited to be presenting for the second time…

Create Your Own Pokémon!

It’ll be presented under the Chibi Katsu programming division, so we hope lots of kids come with their parents to make their own Pokémon (and maybe share their creations with the rest of us!).

We’re a little sad we can’t present our other panels at Katsucon this year, but we hope this means the programming that was selected is AMAZING! We’ll see you guys there!
