Ami

Ami grew up in Frederick, MD, where they also majored in English Education…which did not end up being their day job. They have also lived in Hagerstown, MD, Chambersburg, PA, Hampton, VA, and currently Greensboro, NC (since 2018). They have two Siamese cats named Sushi and Mochi and they love cosplay and karaoke.

Ami has been a Pokémon fan for 25 years and has a LOT to talk about when it comes to Pokémon. Like, a whole lot. So they made a panel on it. And then some more panels, because why not?

They have been going to conventions since 2011, starting with the very first Invadercon (yes, that was a con dedicated to the cartoon, Invader Zim) and got hooked on the convention scene and especially cosplay from that point on. It was only in 2022 that they started to get more involved with convention events, starting with hosting photoshoots and helping with the Animazement ribbon game, then running panels and working as staff at Nekocon in the photoshoot and ribbon game departments.

Tyler

Tyler lives in Cary, NC and loves to talk about a variety of topics to anyone who will listen (whether they like it or not), including Pokémon, Star Wars, mythology, and an assortment of video games. He’s been going to conventions since 2011 and has been hosting photoshoots and panels since 2023. His hobbies include gaming, watching movies, watching soccer, and playing Pokémon Go and weekly bar trivia. He’s very sociable, so if you see him, go say hi! He remembers almost everyone he meets even once. He’s the primary host of Pokémon Jeopardy, Name That Video Game, Survey Says… Anime Edition, Survey Says… Pokémon Edition, Pokémon: Shiny Showdown, Your Opinion Doesn’t Matter, and co-host of Create Your Own Pokémon.

He is the photographer for all of Evolution Panels’ photoshoots.

Michael

Michael lives in Cary, NC and has been attending conventions since 2011. He enjoys anime, gaming, and cooking. You might see him in his signature cosplay as Chef from South Park. He may have offered you one of Chef’s Chocolate Salty Balls. He’s the newest addition to Evolution Panels and the primary host of Anime Music Bingo.
